Our Story

Founded by Mark Roder, Purestyk Golf is more than just a golf company, it's a testament to a passion for the game and a commitment to mentoring fellow golfers.

With over a decade of high-level competitive golf experience, Mark's journey began as a standout high school player, earning League MVP honors, and progressed to the collegiate Division I level. Starting at Coastal Carolina University, transferring to Sandhills Community College—the #1 ranked junior college golf program in the country—and completing his collegiate career at Hofstra University, Mark's path is paved with dedication and excellence.

For the past three years, Mark has been based in South Florida, competing professionally on mini-tours, PGA qualifiers, and multiple Q Schools. During this time, he had the privilege of training alongside PGA Tour pro Justin Hicks, refining his skills and deepening his understanding of the game.

Mark's teaching philosophy is grounded in the knowledge he has gained from learning under some of the game’s top professionals, including Golf Digest’s Top 50 Teachers Allen Terrell, David Orr, and Darrell Kestner. As a TPI and TrackMan-certified instructor, Mark combines cutting-edge technology with insights from his professional playing experience to provide students with a comprehensive approach to improving their game.
